just got 3 starview super boxes.i live in Dublin ntl cable. put 8.00 firmware on, and all the programmes are coming in scanned but when it goes to update it stays on 0%. i have tried the default button loads of imes with no success. it is strange i am getting 2 programmes nick junior+nick replay. any solutions jhaye2x
yes ,the key emu is turned on.i just noticed that when i turn on the signal strength it is staying at 66%-99%on all the programmes .i also have a starview (the box) and that is ok +the signal strength is fluctuation and it is perfect. any idea how i can sort the signal strength out. jhaye2x
Try a factory reset Menu > factory setting pin 0000 ok to delete TURN THE BOX OFF AT THE BACK FOR ONE MIN & THEN TURN BACK ON English > installation choose provider auto scan > ok channels found Exit Menu > 1570 turn emu on exit exit exit
still no joy ,i tried what you said,but i think the problem is ,is that the signal (level+ quality is stuck on 66%-99%)whereas they should be fluctuation. jhaye2x
Try flashing with firmware Version 7.09 for SV3, a lot of people have had problems with V. 8.00, and if you have only just got the box then it may be the newer version which 7.09 was brought out for, worth a try.
LOL, i thought you had set the default key & exited to s*y sports earlier. Well done on getting it sorted.
