Some of the dublin 22 area had bad nthell in the odd time the last few days so we had the scrambled or bad channel, glitching and bad sound and sometimes scrambled or bad channel would stay there until you changed the station and changed it back. anyone else get that?
Thanks Desb i just downloaded the new firnmware and will install in a bit and get back to you to let you know how igot on.thanks again torres9
Hi DesB i just uploaded the new firmware on the starview 3 super.im just woundering do ineed to do a factory reset after i put it on.once i had done it the channels came back straght away.it said no signal for less than a sec and came on.iknow with the euro box that after putting firmware on a factory reset is needed. Thanks very much for your help and also thanks to Karljd aswell.
some firmware updates wipe out channel data and u need to rescan again, but if it is a patch u are only adding a little bit of info hence no need to rescan.
There should be no need to, however you can do a factory reset it will boot back in, and then you have wiped previous updates clean, its up to you, glad you got it sorted!! Evening Cacti!!
