I noticed this in another thread, my starview super keeps freezing and will display that symbol, however i can get it workin for 2 mins before this happens. Does it sound like a capacitor is gone? I've tried flashing it with all the latest versions, but same thing keeps happening.
Evening Karl, Conor nothing to do with the C11 its your firmware, press menu, system info and post what it says. Also how long have you had the Super?
bit soon for that have you opened it and had a look inside(when its unplugged obviously)
Ye i've opened it just there, theres 2 similar capacitors labelled the same, but the + is still clearly visible scouser ive had the box about 4 months now, i had 2 months of goodness from it, then it started rebooting alot, heres what it says; THE BOX SUPER API ver : 7.05e_E Boot ver :8.0 10. Apr. 2008 Any suggestions?
Wont believe it ashamed to say I forgot Karl What score and who scored? Conor try a reflash with 6.01.
I've tried that, ive tried all of the flashes for the starview super from eamos library, as I'm typing this it seems to be fairly stable though, only rebooted once so far in the past hour, is this the norm?
No, dam, i thought it would have resseted itself completly after a reflash, will i need to reflash from the start now or will i just perform a reset as is?
Factory reset after reflash is recommended. 7.05 isnt the best either way. So sorry to say you need to go through the whole process again, only a few minutes so hopefully not much pain
Try as I said a factory reset after any flash, it also help to turn off box after reflash for a minute or so.
