Hello guys i have been reading the posts about the no signal threads,as you will be guessing i have got no signal aswell.It was yesturday and the tv just turned off,when i turned it back on it said no signal i got rid off the channels by using factory reset and when i scan it again ,it still says no signal.I didnt fix the box myself a asian man came and i paid 250 pounds for it,yes 250 pounds,i was just happy not 2 waste my money with sky.i also dont have a ntl box i got a sky1 and everything is in properly.Thanks for reading and making suggestions.my system settings are :The box super,AP1 VER:6.00 e_E,Boot ver:8.0.Because of this not working i wasnt able 2 watch my beloved team but saw the highlights and every ref favours man u!!!!!!.I also live in lonodn if thats any help. From what I understand would I be right in thinking your trying to get your starview working via a sky box as opposed to a N8L box? What exactly did your Asian friend do for the £250.00 ??
the asian guy aint my friend he got refered to me by a friend who said he fixed it for him.yes im trying 2 get it working through a sky box as i have never had ntl ,i have also had the box for around 5 months and no problem
well to be honest with you I cant see how you have had it working for that length of time if its not connected to a live feed Your sky box doesnt work with the starview
i dont know what the guy done aswell but he drilled some of the cable outside to some box,but i cant watch 2 of them at the same time i gotta turn 1 of 2 watch the other,when i do scan it goes on tw aswell
Jaysus this is going to be one of those threads LOL OK... I think whats happened is that your connected outside your house via your coax,and this is connected to your starview, have you then got a scart going from your Starview to your TV? can you press Menu.. then installation.. then change your TW to N*l and then do an autoscan... tell me then what you get... Disconnect the sky box when doing an autoscan
Ok disconnect the cables from the starview and put them in directly from your connection in the wall to the TV ....now what do you get?
well that tells us that you dont have a live feed from the box outside the house and as the starview wont work on the sky box your bunched.... I still cant figure out how you had it working before.. perhaps you had a live feed and it was cut off, I have never heard of this!!
This all points to the answer of having no live feed going to the starview box!! I asked you earlier to connect the TV to the cable that is coming into the house that your asian friend connected, you said no programmes found, did yo not have BBc1/2 etc even? you wont get any message only a fuzzy screen!!

ok so if the live feed has been cut off what can i do to get it back on ? by the way the live feed cable is connected from another house as my house didnt have it
Well you could try to at least purchase the basic package! - have the other house fell out with you or what lol.
