I have a Starview Box Version 4.54 which my wife was fiddling with, she seems to have pressed some buttons she shouldn't have and somehow now it's stuck in the "menu" screen, in the "Main Menu" screen both "Parental Lock" & "Channel Edit" are inaccessible & when I try to install channels it doesn't find any. I can exit out of the "Main Menu" to "Language" menu but can't get back to channels from there. Any help would be much appreciated.
4.57 is the lates file for that box and it sounds as if the box has been factory defaulted accept language then into installation choose provider then do an auto scan then when finished menu again 1570 on key pad then turn on emu exit out 3 times to main tv screen and let the box update thats it
Thanks for that Fergusb, it did the job...seem to be missing most of the channels I had originally though, message onscreen says "data is being updated...[0%]" ...maybe it's time I started looking for a Starview 4....thanks again.
if you are in the Uk put the V4.57 on your box and it will be fine if you are in Ireland you will have to get a different box for there
