i have a starview the box and have lost some channels but i need to get attheraces back if possable even by manual input.can any one help it is showing 347500khz(64)6887ksps
It is still on 347500 , You will have to delete the non working channels (ATR and CH4) and then do a manual scan on 347500 and the new working ones will be found at the end of your list.
great stuff i have got the channel back i followed cactikid instructions and the only thing extra i did was to turn back on the emu after the auto scan
good to hear it means u r learning about the ins and outs of box and how to get channels back when there is a problem.
hi everyone, i have a sv1 original, some of my channels are starting to stop working a message will come up say "Bad channel descramble" (something like that). i have tried the auto scan, manual scan. and even deleting the channels and then trying the auto scan or even the manual scan as well. it will find the channels and they would start to work but after like 1 hours or so, or after a day it will be the same not working. the EMU is always on. what is wrong why does it do this, is there a way round to solve it, to make back to normal as usual. Please help me!!! thank you
thank you for your quick reply. i am in the Sheffield area in South Yorkshire, the last time i updated the sv1 was when just recently at end of November begin of December. i know the update is working because when the key had rolled after i updated it, the sv1 auto updated.
Ok the best thing to do is rescan it, do a factory reset then rescan, that way you should be sorted, make sure if you have any splitters on it to remove them prior to scanning
again thank you for your quick response, i will get back to you when i have done what you have just told me to do. if i don't get time to reply back today how i went i will tell you tomorrow. Thank you very much!!!.
No Problem .. your welcome: FACTORY RESET Factory settings can be found by pressing menu - factory settings - type 1668 and press ok. Autoscan go to menu installation and press automatic scan. Make sure key emu is on after this by pressing menu, type 1570 on highlighted installation button. key emu button is at the bottom of the cas menu make sure it says on.
thanks DesB. i did the factory reset, then the auto scan and since yesterday it is working fine no problems so far. Thank you very much, getting me up and running smoothly again.
