Not sure if anyone can help but here is the scenario I'm having trouble with.

I was using firmware 4.52 on my Starview - The Box (not super) and everything was working fine. Sorted my channel list using the starview channel editor and then downloaded to the box using GTRom Loader 4.00. All fine.
Recently upgraded to firmware 4.54 which involved using GTRom Loader 4.03. The update worked fine but noticed my channel list was blank. I presumed this was usual with a firmware upgrade.
So re-downloaded my channel list to the box using GTRom Loader 4.03. But when I plugged into the TV it said Channel Data did not exist. Went back to the computer and this time uploaded the channel list from the box and it was my correct channel file which got uploaded to the pc. So somehow the channel data file seems to be on there, but not being picked up correctly.

    Any suggestions?

Don't want to have to sort through all the channels/names again!

Thats confused me :) Have you tried the Box channel data convertor in Eamos? Sounds like that is what you need to use on your old CDF to use it with 4.54.

    Afternoon Noely ;)

Aah is the channel data file different across firmwares? I'll give it a go when I get home. Wasn't looking forward to going through all the channel lists again to get them in a nice order. Thanks!

Is this the right way to do it then if no-one has used it for a while?
Don't bother me what firmware or anything I have on my box as long as it works and doesn't crash with a green screen almost every time you go to the EPG (which it did before I updating firmware).

LOL think we need more than luck :)

I was joking regards the mothballs. Once you upgraded the firmware you needed to convert the CDF, this app will do this for you.
