Hi all, First post so go easy and apologies if I break any etiquette but I am brain dead when it comes to this kind of thing so treat me like a thicko! My Starview - The Box went down a few hours ago. Now I've read some of the threads before I posted so I know that folk are saying just enter the codes that Fergal is so kindly providing. However, I've never had to enter codes before, The Box has always updated itself, what do I need to do? I'm afraid I'll mess things up if I do something I'm not supposed to do. Any advice would be much appreciated. Please bear in mind that I am not at all technologically minded - many thanks!
If you have The Box then it should auto update itself,press the 'Menu' button on the remote and enter 1570,then on the menu it brings up go down to 'Set default key' press the 'OK' button and exit completly out of the menu,now put it on UK Gold or the likes and it should display 'data updating' or somethin along those lines when it's finished it should come back on for you,
CO19, I have feelings of man love for you! Been sitting here for about 4 hours scratching my head! Worked a treat, I feel like I have my life back again!!! You sir, are a legend!!! Ah well, at least I got to listen to Rory Gallagher for the last hour.
