starview the box green lights flashing

hi am confused need help, ive read about people having bad flashes but my problem is i cant the the box to go on standby, im just getting flashing green dashes going from left to right, nothing is working what can i do please help

Try the bad flash method to recover from that, go to the 1st link marked Starview and read down, it will take a few goes but it does work, can't lose anything by trying it.
