i have a Starview "The Box" PVR. Is there anyway at all I can upgrade this to allo me to have a 7 day EPG. my NTL box does have a 7 day EPG. I know the new Starview 4 is now out which supposidly does have a 7 day guide. Is it possible for me to flash this up onto the SV3. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Hi No to upgrading EPG and No to mixing F/W's, unless you want a Starview doorstop. You can only get the best EPG thats available for the Starview PVR with v4.506 Oct F/W. There is also a Beta v 3.01 but lots of people have had problems with it and I don't think the EPG is any better. To find your present Software version press Menu/System Setup/System Information, then if 4.506 needed goto to link below and look in the TheBox PVR Folder for F/W and Documentation Folder for How too's http://eko.4shared.com/ jbvid
