I'm new to this so apologies if this email is old hat. i have just got a starview the Box. I am on n*l (UK). I have a few questions: I am getting alot of channels but am missing some which I would want for example Sky Sports 2, Celtic TV and Sky 1. Is it possible to get these 'separately'? Also I have a lot of the same channel. How do I delete these? How do I get them into an oder I want? This morning I had a channel that I now can't get? Is this normal?! Hope someone can help me out. Thanks.
A lot of questions in one post. You need to have the box flashed with version 4.51, have you done this. To delete duplicate channels go to channel edit in menu and delete as per button instructions on screen. Easy way to sort them is also in channel edit press red button to sort alphabetically. Another alternative is the SVCE, (Starview Channel Editor), and you can order channels to your liking, this is a longer process though. Another way is to download a channel file from your area. You say you had some channels in the morning and they have gone missing. This is because some channels only broadcast during the day and stop in the evening.
Thanks Scouser. Flashed with 4.51 (my mate did this). The channels that I had yesterday morning are still not back. I checked a few times during the day. Is it a difficult process for me to get Celtic TV for example? As you can tell I'm not exactly up to speed on this stuff. What is a channel file from my area?
You can try this and see what you get in ok 1 Go to menu first 2.factory settings,password code 1668,press ok for it to delete the channels 3.Then turn your box off and wait a moment then turn back on again 4.pick your language,english then press ok. 5 go to installation,cable network check your provider,automatic scan. 6 once its done scanning,press exit exit twice from here 7.now your in the main menu,,press 1570 on remote pad. 8.now your in the cas menu,press the down tab once,to go to emu and turn it on,exit three times to get back to screen and view channels
I think there is a problem with celtic tv as alot cant get it or rangers tv for that matter . It must be a cc problem so if your new to this i wouldnt bother trying to get it in !
