Starview the box (turns itself on and off)

    Any ideas mods it keeps turning itself on and off,is there a cure?

    Press Menu > System Information and tell us what the API is please

    Also are you in Ireland or the UK ?

    I had a St*rvi*w 2 and got rid of it due to the problem you mention. I picked a Krypt and got the green/purple screen of death crashes with that as well. I think its just a "price" you pay which is fixed with a reboot.

    i know what it is. i had that with 4.50 whenever i looked at the epg 50% of times it went green\pink\purple and ten seconds later it reboots itself. with 4.52 it doesn't happen. 4.54 is available but i prefer 4.52.
