starview the box

    Hi I've just bought a starview the box and I'm trying to scan for channels. It can't detect any channels and the parental and channel edits are still green

    did you selct the correct provider on set up? Are you in a digital enabled area? Have you upgraded your box to the correct firmware?

    Yes in cable area and selected ex c/w which my othe box used and system info says api ver 4.51-e. It's just that the parental controls and channel edit's hatched green

    Factory re-set and scan on another provider or re-scan again...
