starview update fail help

    hey guys....i have a starview receiver...i got gtrom loader,i have StarView 26012007 265eE api.bin file ,i got usb to rs232 cable converter plus null cable....all connected up....i open gtrom...load bin file(receiver is on)...sellect comport....press download button...download starts but doesnt go more than 0%...and stays like that forewer....why?...please help..thanks

    You need the b0x on STANDBY first , and you also need to know if you have a clone or genuine b0x as they use different firmware

    its genuine...and i plug it in the mains and press the button on in the back....in fron of receiver is flashing 4 dots than says On
