starview v4.00

hello there people.
i'v been using my orignal starviewbox past week with v4.00firmware everything sound.and just flashed an old clone i had dead in the water with v4.00 and happydays clone revived .does anyone no if this will eventually kill the clone.cheers

 

let me get this you had a dead clone box completely dead.no lights on it no sounds coming from it.you flashed it with 4.00 and it came back?and 4.00 kills clone box's fast so put it to 2.57.

 

well wen people say dead i thought they mean just not working and a green light sliding back and forward across the screen.so not completely off.so i should put 257 back on it

 

yeah your box just had a bad flash.so put 2.57 on it before its really dead

dont suppose you know of a firmware for clones to stop them needing manual code updated's.

 

yeah theres a 2.57 that autorolls.pm me if you want it.

I have looked at your pictures to see if I have a clone or original box before I update the firmware. I have a problem.. My remote is the original shown on the picture but the back of the bok is the copy in the picture.. Can you help. I am alos looking for the latest version of the software which will automatically update the NTL ireland codes

Any help greatly appreciated

 

look thought the slits on the top.from the front on the right you should see a silver cube if.there are two types

the straight lines are genuine the spiky cube is a clone.

If the heatsink is the cube you are talking about it appears I have a genuine box as I have uninterupted lines. Can you link me to the latest software and firmware

 

sorry i called it a silver cube because some people don't understand heat sink.if you want v4.00 theres a link at the bottom of my post

yeah i have been using it about 2 weeks with no probs and it updates the keys
