hi all ,hope some 1 can help ive a starview box and not sure which 1 it is on the front it says starview 1 side other says dv3 or looks like that will this be a starview 3 plzz if so what cables will i need an where can i find the fixes as me son set it back to factory settings ive lost all channels any help will be appreceated,,ty
If it only says Starview on the top left hand side of the box, then it is Starview 1, and there is no UK fix out at the moment for that box, so you will have to input manually. But you will not get the C***s on here it is not allowed, for setting up after a Factory Re-set just accept English, then Installation,choose your provider top right < > arrow keys, and then Automatic Scan, and when channels are found then exit back to main Menu and enter 1570 and Cas System Menu will appear, go down and turn Key Emu to ON. However as said you will have to enter manually the keys to unscramble, for guidance click on the link marked Starview 1st one at the bottom of my post and read down, also for future information, if and when a fix does come out then for the cable/s you need go to the link marked Eurovox, same cables different box, and you will also find an updating guide in the Starview link 2nd line.
