starview with $ky signal, what will happen???

Hi ya jedi`s of tv land. what would happen if i put the $ky signal off the dish through the starview 2 box, will it pick up any chans?

In a word 'No'. There is no sat tuner in it only a cable tuner.

 

nope, just the No Signal channel, cable box wont work on Sat mate

 

is there a box that will give me the free stuff, if so could you rec one?

 

On sat or cable, Sat is a different beast mate and ya would be better if some one with the Sat experiance to guide ya

for cable, those are the boxs working in Ireland at present, but it a good indicator to start

yeah, sat. had the starview and when it went went to $ky, have 2 boxes down stairs, guy that put it in wired the bedroom too. Problem is only have the sky cable comming in now. so a bit snookered.

 

Why not get a freesat box?? You should get one dirt cheap. Or use your old sky box for freesat? There are many different makes out there for that too many to list. You're restricted because you have a fixed dish on 28.2E so only freesat will do. The other option, we can't talk about.

 

i have a tv that shuld be digi reddy, has the digital symbol on. will it work on that?
