Hi all I am new to this! My starview is fine! just questions so help if poss? 1..Can n*l and other(s)able to locate any non-subcribers signal? 2..I have stop my t.v service from n*l and would they able to locate my signal(i know that the star view dont have the talk back enable)? 3..My starview says "auto update on the box" so why we need to update the s/w now and again? 4..where can i obtain the new software from or check the s/w version? if poss show me where or send me the software to my email address thanks alot
Answer to 3) The update is normally a key emulation which changes the key to the correct key if the key is invalid for the premium channels. I presume you have "key emu" on. There is no need to worry the key emulation is nessecary for the starview box to work
