thank you for your last input the question is, if i buy a starbox over the internet raw and unused bring it home plug it in what do i do providing i have the software cd and null cable
you put the null modem in the back of the starview and in the back of you pc.if you get a cd you will have gtrom loader but i don't think you will have v4.00 firmware on it so you will need to download(theres a link at the bottom of my post).then use gtrom loader to upload the firmware to your box
