    is it possible to jtag an original starview box as mine freezes when its turned on, dont get past the 4th green light.

    Mate that sounds like a capacitor issue. I had the same thing on mine and when you take of the top you should see that 1 cap has a dome top due to it been faulty instead of flat. If you replace the cap you should be fine.....
