    can someone help please?my mate can only get so many channels on his starview,ie some movies,some sports like sky sports extra but no skysports 1 or 2,when we press sig it just says 0 any ideas please

    you have to delete the ones that don't work and rescan for the new ones.

    what do you mean "when we press sig it just says 0"

    he means the signal is 0% on that frequency.

    when i turn sky sports 1 or 2 on or some others it shows on the sreen as sky sports and whats on at that time but he can not see the program,the sig strenth is showing 0 but a lot of other channels are fine?

    Make sure all the cables are pushed fully in ,and if its on a splitter remove it.

    Go to the Main TV in the house plug it in there and see if it gets better!

    its not on a splitter,and cables are ok but just can not pick up some channels

    well go to the channels your having problems with.. Delete them and re install them via an auto scan
