you need to go into eamos library (can be found at the bottom of sc0user's posts) Go to the folder marked 'The Box' then go into the folder marked 'latest firmware and loader'. Download thie file in here called 'the box 4.57 and loader.rar' This file is compressed so you will need to unzip it using winzip or winrar. once you have unzipped this file it will show up as a .bin(firmware) file and you will be able to select it usingf the loader program.

Make sure you have the cable plugged into the port marked 'cable input' on the back of the box

What area are you in and who is your cable provider?
At least you're getting a signal now so you're best bet is to do a factory reset and scan again.
main menu - factory settings - enter password(0000) - press OK
english - installation - select your provider - auto scan
exit to main menu - press 1570 - turn key emu ON - exit exit

that firmware file is a fix for the Irish boxes, not sure if it can be used in the UK. Go back into eamos library, go to The Box - firmware - the box uk fix ver 4.55 and download this file. it will need to be unzipped like the last one. then do the factory reset and scan again for channels

you would need to get the channel dump file for your area and provider, i cant help you with this but maybe cactikid can point you in the right direction. You can use the same loader program to send it to your box, you just need to select 'channel data file' instead of 'app file only' before downloading.

alternatively you could manually sort the channels and save the channel dump file to your computer for future use. to do this you use the same loader program, select 'channel data file' and click upload instead of download.
