hi what it is ive got starview2 the box ive flashed with new firmware sound ok as i have a genuine box with 25x7 vents on top but few of me m8s have starview2 clones i think with 20x7 vents on is there a firmware coming out 4 clones or can i use the firmware what i used on my original dont want to killme mates box i thought clones had 18x7 vents on not 20x7 any help wud be great cheers
Don't think that there will be any clone firmware for Starview The Box, but I wouldn't advise that you put the genuine firmware on either, unless you or one of your mates are willing to let their box act as a guinea pig.
so shud i just tell them to get new box then or just tell them to keep puttin codes in if theres no fix for clones comin out thought they wud bring fix out cos starview1 clones is out cheers anyway
whatever you do dont put the genuine firmware on the clone box,my mate done it and now his box is wrecked
They can at least keep it going manually, that is the best course of action, you can sort them, and it surprised me too.
