Hi - just received the box Starview2 and did autoscan - but nothing returned. I think I need to download software but havent been able to find it on web - any help gratefully received
Hi All firmware can be found here : http://eko.4shared.com/ click on the folder relevent to your type of box i.e original Starview or The Box each type of box has it's own folder containing the software for it. Another tip, you should download the Starview PDF guide this will give you step by step instructions on how to do everything.This can be found in the Starview Documentation folder in the link. jbvid

Sure does but that is not "The Box" firmware this is for a PVR what makes you think it is the box. Jbvid is quite up on the PVR.
Hi Think scOuser will agree that you may have the wrong software in the box unless it is a PVR box you have (hard drive inside) If it is a PVR there is newer software available at the link in my last post. jbvid
Hi Scouser, jbvideo, sorry if I confused the issue - I have The Box PVR which I ordered from afterdawn understanding it was a more advanced box than the Starview box that I already have. I have just taken out out of the box and plugged into tv but get nothing when I scan so I presume I need to load software
As Jbvid said you can find firmware for the PVR in the link he gave you. Jbvid is more hands on with the PVR he will guide you through it.
Hi Jbvideo,sorry to bother you but still struggling ! got software and instructions and uploaded firmware. System Information now says .: The Box PVR Dual Record PVR E_Ver 4.500. 6 Jul 2007 When I select NTL as Cable Network and do autoscan I still get no channels found. Am I on the right track even?
