Hi, Recently purchased a Samsung series 6 42inch LCD . I have my starview 3 hooked up to it but I must say I feel the picture quality could be better . I have read a couple of forums regarding this TV and how the factory settings for the picture are pretty brutal , I have changed all the picture settings to reccomended and also checked that the firmware is up to date on TV .... (Bare with me I am getting to the starview bit)....seen I have done all i can on the TV side of things , my question is this ... Have you any advice on settings I can put into the starview to improve piture quality ? I am using standard SCART leads , will purchasing higher spec imrpove the quality ? Am I chasing my tail and just live with the picture quality as thats the best from the starview? An advice no matter howsmall is welcome . Ta
1 Jaysus, your always giving out !! LOL I have the same problem, however I got Gold plated scarts, I think they were around €14/15 in Power city, I also found the closer you are to the TV the worse the reception But it could be a case of its as good as you will get!!!
Howya Des ... Typical me , not giving out just always wondering If i can get better , usually turns out that i mess up and make things worse then pray for a factory setting that will get me back to where i began , watch you will see me on a Samsung forum asking for a way to factory default the TV in a week or 2 .
I would live with it if i was you, by all means ask for info elsewere, but dont go messing with things you dont understand
