All help appreciated, but remember it worked at my place...
prope whats your location and his are you both on diff providers does he have a ariel on his roof for e.g
We're both from brum...different ends tho...cable provider is the same...he has a diff box from before that works, and I have got one of the 5 boxes I sold him to work, but he was having probs with another last nite....I'm sure he has an aerial on the roof...I was thinking maybe cos I did the installation at my yard to check that the boxes were picking up all channels and working bfr I dropped the boxes off at his place, that the problem arises...should of done installation at his place...plus it was pretty bad weather last night...any help appreciated...
whats the box he has that works???? if he has a ariel then he needs a a box T vareint of what ever he prefers e.g starview box T
He has a scientific atlanta box with card......as iv mentioned, the boxes iv taken over are the starview3 super...after factory reset, the first box started to work brilliantly, and still does...the second one he's having probs with...don't know about the 3rd,4th or 5th one...I know he's gna sell them off,and I know for def they were working just fine when I checked them at home before delivery.....maybe he's pressing the wrong buttons,or he's cable connection outside is too close to the ground(rain) etc...I know the boxes are fine, and the firmware is loaded fine...there's a prob on his end.....
Four green lines like this ---- usually indicate a bad flash. Just reflash it with whatever SV3 firmware you used in the first place. If its a bad flash, turn off the box, hit download on the firmware and turn box back on. You may have to do this a few times before it takes a flash.
