thanks cactikid. i have sv1 box. some channels working. wondering if i am better getting sv4 box now or wait until later in year and see what happens.
it is ur choice but am not a fan of starviews anymore,not great support for it,most other people go for a different make,very well supported box and out with the fixes quick.and there are clones out there and firmware will kill it.
what type of box do you recommend... and how has it been affected by recent encryption changes...any advice would be appreciated..

,box well supported is kryptview arnet 750,in irl encryption is changing from nagra1-nagra2 and sometime to nagra 3,when channels move to new encryption u cannot view them,uk not effected yet as they are still on n1.support is what makes a box good kryptview had a fix within days and worked for old and new box,other boxes had fixes in over 12 weeks and some only recently. so working channels= blank screens ur choice.
