Im having a problem setting a static ip address on the wireless router, i have a surboard cable modem and a TP-LINK TL-WR340G wireless router. when i go to the router settings and switch from dynamic and to staic and then type in the static ip and the subnet, gateway and DNS after i click next it tells me this message

WAN IP address and LAN IP address cannot exist at a same subnet. Please input another IP address. Im having a hard time trying to figure it out any help would be great, step by step guide would be awesome also.

    Thnx
