Thanks to some excellent advice from jbvideo I got my box up and working in Dublin this week! Thanks, jb. The problem I have is a constant static sound in the background across all channels. Bought a new scart cable, still the same. Unplug the cable input and the static is still there (therefore it exists between the box and the tv when connected by scart). Unplug the scart and no static on the tv. Plug in my old stb (with and without cable connection) and no static. Anyone any suggestions?

I think I have the same problem - the old NT*L box works fine, but the Eurovox (Max V - 2008) is intermittent. I've removed a splitter between wall socket & box, but still the same.

In the channel manager, I can see the 13 channels for NTL - the signal strength is nominally at 85% but every few secods drops to 7-15% then after a couple of seconds returns to 85%

This seems to happen randomly, and sometimes not at all. It makes it a little unwatchable tbh. I've also tried a small amplifier in line with the wall socket - no joy. Tuned it using Power Tune @ 6887 baud and picked up all the stations. I'm out of ideas now!! Firmware is Kuro.
