I don't no if you like this idea or not, but to have an online or offline sign next to a members name is cool.

It's a nice idea, but knowing a bit about servers, i can tell you now that it would create quite a strain on the server(s), and could cause a number of problems.
That idea would not put a strain on the servers,i am sure drd can add that in a heart beat…if he wanted to.. (invisible) is the way to go..as it was from the beginning of the site.
@Ireland You could also have the option of browsing the forums invisible or as a ghost when logging in as well.
ireland, to my knowledge it would create an extra strain on the server as it would need to keep record of who was online/offline. And i'm thinking that takes space and uses CPU cycles... Or am i sorely mistaken here?
