Staview 2 - The Box - Dublin - N*L - EPG gone

Hi,

My EPG has disappeared in the last couple of days.

I still have all the channels though, which is good.

I've seen a few posts on here telling people to upgrade their firmware to version 4.50eE as that is the latest version for Ireland(I have a file called _Ireland_H20070705_450eE_api.bin here), however my box tells me that it has firmware version 4.52eE already on it.

Is this firmware less compatible in Ireland that the other (older) version ?

Any advice appreciated !

450 is the most stable for ireland

 

quick fix for epg,power off box for a short while then on will restore epg,when epg is not shown check date in left top of screen.

 

Thanks for the replies guys .... I've been powering the Box off and on a good few times without much luck.

I'll re-check the date again and if no luck i'll downgrade the formware to 4.50

4.50 isnt the most stable as it suffers from Green screen shutdown problems while browsing the EPG,

 

have 450 on any boxs i have have never had a freezing problem sounds like urs have bad flash

 

or green shutdown problems 454 is not as stable as 450 i no have sold hundreds of boxs

 

I have just upgraded to version 4.50 from 4.00 and it is now working fine. I did not see version 4.52 anywhere which may have been lucky.

Load 4.50 again and try that. Hopefully it will overwrite the version 4.52 that you have.

See how you get on.
