Dvdfab had no trouble with this one at all. Ran it thru my usual process of dvdfab - fixvts - dvd shrink - burn and had no problem.

I keep getting an error when I use DVD Shrink. I "open files" which is the dvd then it will open a dialog box and within a few seconds it says "dvd shrink encountered error and cannot continue. Failed to read file "D:\" Data error (cyclic redundancy check)

Can someone please walk me through what I need to do or if I need to download another program?

I get that error with a few different dvd's I try to shrink.

    Thanks

It's an encryption error, as dvd shrink has not been updated in years. I suggest using dvdfab HD Decrypter, as it's a free version before proceeding with dvd shrink.

Go to http://dvdfab.com/ to download. After downloading, you have the option for the free version (HD Decrypter) or the trial version (gold/platinum). Choose the free version.

    Action: correct website address.
