step2 on flashing tutorial

    when i plug power cord in just the red power light comes on
    i dont get(----)on front display or 4 digits
    do i need to turn the box on with remote
    any help would be appreciated

    What box have you got, what did you flash it with?

    it's the eurovox ex1000sl
    ihavent flashed it yet
    i got the program in the threads on tutorial
    and i was going to flash it - hence my question

    Leave the box on standby and carry on with the flash.

    has any body flashed a box with just the red power light on and will it be ok
    thanks in advance

    I did post above chimpchok just carry on with the flash, you leave the box on standby so the red light is on, dont be so nervous ;) best of luck.
