i have a MX-KB4 JVC stereo and as soon as i turn the volume up, it goes on protect. This happened first when the stereo was bought, but it stopped after a while and it hasn't happened since that until i had to unhook my stereo to paint my room. when i hooked it back up, it began going on protect when it reached a certain volume level. if anyone knows what could be causing the problem, please help me:)

that was most likely me then who gave a test to try...

    did it fix yours??

and if you want it closed, you can ask a mod to close it, but they don't moderate here too often.
