still cant get download for starview

i am a beginner on computers. i cant get the download software for my starview box, would be grateful if someone can give me a link or a rough idea of what do to. it's asking me to open bin files n all the other stuff i'm lost please help. dont know what to do.

i have an origanal starview box

 

my starview is a real one, i dont even know how to click on the link, i did i just got a clone page mines is not a clone, can u possibly send me a link for downloading as this is driving me mad, i'm a complete novice in computers n boxes, hope u can help scouser. love ur city by the way been there a few times brilliant mate. hope u can help me. cheers

and find 'starview'. then hit on 'software' and click on 'gtrom loader'
when thats done come back ...

 

done it, it opened a box asking for a file name i'm lost

 

Ok now go back into that eko link and starview then hit 'firmware'
and download the v4.00e . when this is done then open up gtrom loader and click on that file

 

done it but cant find gtrom loader? i'm useless with computers is there no link to it, thanks for helping me but it's double dutch to me sorry. please help

u said u have a 'box' thats asking for a file . the box is the gtromloader and the file is v4.00e

 

keeps cuming up file not known. in the box with com1 + starview keeps dissappearing from it. not downloading.

 

please help its not letting me download its saying file cannot be found? thanks for your help so far, is there no way i can get a link to download it. the gtrom loader is not letting me open the box with download + upload on it.

 

Hit 'bin file' and this should appear in the window 'STARVIEW_H20070607_400eE_api'

 

i have but its changing from starview to GCR500 or sumin like it, then says file not known?please help me mate as i'm going mad here

 

when u open up gtrom loader ( the box)
u should see 'serial port' : com 1
' baud rate': 115200
'stb model':GCR 3510

 

its saying model name does not correct + it keeps cumin up GCR3510 wots wrong i told you i'm hopeless at computers, can you not send me a link cos my box is ready all connected to the computer

 

i do but it still not working help me please mate. it just says starview digital receiver on mine model number is JN7100159 if that helps i cant see my box on here, the remote is the same as the 1 in the clone site the real one i've checked it.

still stuck, i go into gtrom loader the box when i download says cant open serial poprt? also last error; the system cannot find the file specified, please help me b4 i go crazy.

 

have u got a pc or a laptop, u need a 'null modem cable' for a pc .
