This Wednesday my xbox 360 was stolen along with about 1500-2000 in good from my house. The police came by and all, but i read that you can get them to contact Microsoft to get them to track the ip addresses of whoever is on an xbox live account (which the bastard is using mine). Right now the case looks closed because the police/detectives havent called me or anything. Is there some other way to initiate the search?

i was watching a show called it takes a thief on the Discovery channel, people sign-up to have their huose broken into to see how prepared they are, one couple had 50,000 dollars in stuff and a classic corvette stole (everthing was given back), consider yourself lucky.
that also goes for DeadRain too as his is 52,961 bytes not 50k!! both of you get it fixed ASAP or suffer a temp ban or worse, your choice!!

there's not really any legal recourse you can take that i know of. did you have any of the stuff insured? you could go kinda nuts and track the guy down yourself, but he's probably already fenced your stuff.

How do you know they're using your account and didn't just wipe the console before they went on? There must be a way to track them. Too bad you can't make friends with them over Xbox Live then find them, meet them, and beat the crap out of them.
