I had installed the xbox360 controller for the pc on my laptop. It worked perfectly well. After a couple of months ... which required the installation of a variety of softwares, I tried to use the controller, and it produced a blue screen with this error message

    stop: 0x0000007e (0xc0000005 0x80530d6a 0xf8b1578a 0xf8b154a4)

I really don't know what to do. PLease I'll be grateful for help!!!!

    Thanks in advance

Hi...The type of error you have can be taken care of by doing a repair on the drive....If you have the OS installation disk...you can run the recovery console....The system would ask you
Which XP installation do you want to repair...press 1 and hit enter..

Then When the system asks you the administrator password just hit enter...then type the following command
    C:\>windows>chkdsk /r
There is a space after chkdsk....

    Hope this helps
