Okay, I just want the program stopped or something, cause I never use it, and all of a sudden it keeps popping up in Task Manager, and I can't burn anything with imgburn, until it's disabled!!! I've looked for hours on google, and they only have advice for XP users! Well those don't work for Vista, I already tried it! So does anyone know how to disable it or something, cause it's seriously bugging the hell out of me!

You cannot remove WMP 11 it is embedded in the system however you can change your default program for how it opens a dvd or folder. When you insert a disc of any kind after a period of time the option opens for how do you want to open this disc choose folder view and make it your default or choose your dvd media player of choice then WMP won't open automatically. I have mine set to open all discs in folder view so nothing auto starts. http://www.vista4beginners.com/AutoPlay
