How do I stop my printer from duplicating itself in devices. In win7? is taping the cords up so the cats can't unplug stuff the only option? LOL

Can't you just delete the "old" device listing?

I'm not sure about a solution though sorry.

delete all the "same" printers, uninstall the printer software, disconnect the printer then reinstall the printer software & connect the printer when software tells you.

after you've done what ddp said it may pay to run ccleaner & also remove left over entries from regedit, hkey local machine & hkey user, under software in both,be careful a foot wrong in here could solve your problem permanently your comp will no longer boot thereby solving your extra entries issue ...:p
