My mother made a dvd of our old home movies(8mm,Super8,&vhs). We are now going to make copies of the DVD on ty watershield,& print our own design on them using a canon printer to print directly on the DVD. My question is what would be the best case to store them in?? Is there a special kind of plastic I could wrap them in before putting them in a case?? I use to wrap collector comics in I think a special plastic. Would that work?? WE will be sending copies to all of the people who are in the movies, & want them to be able to pass them on.

Don't throw away the masters on film or tape. They ought to last at least as long as any DVDs if cared for properly, and they can always be remastered to the next format that replaces optical discs.
