As I have heard, the new xbox 360 will use DVD9 (double layer dvd which can hold up to 8.5 gb, instead the new ps3 will use blu-ray (probbably one layer 25gb), the xbox 360 will be my next console because I could easily burn them, instead to burn a ps3 I would probbably need a blu-ray burner (which is very expensive and difficult to get),what do you think about this?? about nintendo I havent heard what format they are planning to use, but I hope they dont come up with a format with less capacity with the excuse that they want to reduce load times, (remember nintendo 64 catridge=128mb, playstation 2 disc=700mb,nitendo gamecube mini-DVD=1.4 gb, PS3 and xbox DVD=4.7gb)and also that they dont come with some weird patented format, it will be probbably best to go with DVD9 (giving them 6 the actual capicity of the gamecube which its probbably enough), what do you think about the storage format for the xbox 360 and new generation consoles?
