Storage media advice?

    Hello, could you recommend a media storage disk for me? I need to back up some Windows Media / Real Player files onto disk using Nero. I have a CDR player and a DVD player - although I don't have a DVDR player. Some of the media files I need to back up are short films. Can I back these up to cd? Will they be playable from the cd after backup?

    You can use Nero Vision to convert the files to VCD and burn then to a CD, if yout DVD player supports VCD playback, or convert them to DVD format and burn them to a DVD.

    My advice would be to just bite the bullet, and purchase a DVD burner. VCD quality is horrible, and as cyprusrom stated, not all DVD Players support VCD playback.

    You would then be able to back up up to 4.38 GB of info, instead of the quite limiting 650-700 MB of a CD-R.

    You will not regret it.
