It seems like the older dvds skipped a second what seemed like in the middle of the dvd. It seemed like it was almost as if the dvd was in two parts. Someone told me its because it takes longer for the laser to read that distance on the dvd. So whats the deal? Blu rays have never done it and so far the newer regular dvds havents.
Are they standard DVDs, DL DVDs, or commercial movie DVDs? If DL or commercial DVDs, you will see a skip, or pause, at the layer break.
