ok, i tried putting in a 60gb hd into my xbox using the computer program thing (forgot its name), it didnt work right because my drive was not locking, some said to try it on a different pc, or maybe i screwed up when getting the eeprom file.. anyway, instead of going and trying it over again on a different pc and making sure all was correct, ive decided to just put my old drive back in and forget about it, its not that important for me to upgrade the drive... so, i put my old drive in , boot up, everything is normal, then about 10min later BAM it shuts itself off and blinks orange! wtf is going on now! i even ordered a new power supply and replaced the old one because my old one was screwy to begin with, but i still get this problem...

the cover is off and all screws are out while im playing it, would this have anything to do with it? is there some kind of ground connection made on the cover or one of the screws thats making my life hell? has anyone out there had this problem? what does blinking orange light with no screen mean?

does this maybe sound like the box is overheating? cus i just put the cover and screws back on then went into the media center settings and put the fan on auto temp @ 104degrees so the fan stays on hi.. i started playing a family guy episode, and if i get thru this whole episode then problem solved, but ill watch this episode then play a game on it and well see ....
