I have a 3 month old Dell studio running windows vista 32 bit. I also use the new I.Explorer and Firefox. My problem is that my internet is running SLOW. I have 5mbps from charter and everytime i do a speedtest it says im running between 4/5 mbps which is fine. Also explorer will randomly say "cant find server or cant connect" and when i diagnose the problem windows says there is nothing wrong. I am at a loss, i have cleaned my registry, run antivrus, cleanded my disk....Help

Doesn't sound like malware.. call your internet service provider and let them check it out from their end..

if it is malware, this may do it for you:

Using a clean computer download and burn a rescue disk from here:
    http://www.free-av.com/en/products/12/av...cue_system.html

Then use this guide to clean your machine:
    http://forum.avira.com/wbb/index.php?page=Thread&threadID=82163

    Next:
Download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware to your desktop.

Double-click mbam-setup.exe and follow the prompts to install the program.
    • At the end, be sure a checkmark is placed next to Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and Launch Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, then click Finish.
    • If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version.
    • Once the program has loaded, select Perform full scan, then click Scan.
    • When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.
Make sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected. <-- Don't forget this.
