    I have just created a "limited account" on my Windows XP in the interests of security, up until now I have been using admin account.
    Now when I start up and load the new account, I get a message automatically pop up in the "notepad" app, saying:
    [.ShellClassInfo]
    LocalizedResourceName=@%SystemRoot%\system32\shell32.dll,-21787
    which I just exit out of.
    Why does this appear, and how am I able to stop it?

    Try searching, downloading and re-installing shell32.dll.
