I've had pretty good luck with nerovison up to now. I've run across a strange problem with editing in nerovison 4. I recently installed 7.0.8.2 (clean install)(Windows XP pro). Everything appears to work fine except when I try to edit a movie. In the preview window in the upper left of the edit window, when I try to click at various locations on the timeline, the picture doesn't change. The audio chnages to the right place but the picture is frozen. Sometimes if I just click play when I enter the edit window, it runs fine with the picture advancing until I click somewhere else, then it freexes again and the sound continues. I've tried reloading Nero (clean tool etc.) several times. I've tried 7.0.5.4, 7.0.5.5. I've tried reloading my display card drivers (Nvidia GeForce 6600GT) with the latest drivers (removing the old one first). I've installed the latest DirectX. All no help. I'd like to go back to the last version that worked (7.0.1.4b) but I can't find it anywhere. To top it all off, I installed the same Nero 7.0.8.2 on a second computer and (also XP pro) and everything works fine. Can anyone help???
same problem ive had with all versions since 7.0.1.4b. i even formatted and reinstalled windows but still no go. my guess is that its related to some piece of hardware(driver for it) but havent narrowed it down.
