i flashed to ixtreme LT using jungle flasher and wanted to check to be sure it was flashed to LT, but now from the dvdkey32 tab i cant load dummy from ixtreme, i get 0x51 status, i am putting the tray in half mode like i always have, and also i cant get intro/device id to work either, it fails after 4 lines of dots.

is this happening to anyone else or is there somthing wrong with my drive, thanks

happened to me too, but i figured that LT was working as it booted my copy of Modern Warfare 2 just fine with no activation disc. I have a lite-on 83850c spoofed as a hitachi 79

Once you flash to ixtreme lite touch it becomes undumpable
    got this from 360mods:
ADDITIONAL NOTE - Once your drive is flashed with LT - It becomes UNDUMPABLE unless using MRA(or similar) Hack - 7series and 8series v1 method will no longer work --------- save your OFW during flashing process!

I just updated my FW from 1.61 to LT. It did the samething as you said, you can't get your keys again from the "Get Dummy from ixtreme".

I assume it wasn't programmed into JF to obtain the keys or maybe it's Team Jungle's way of securing the FW that's on the drive?

One last question, I know C4eva said that system updates with LT on the drive are risky but are system updated needed to run your Xbox? Or will it kinda act like the Wii homebrew scene, where you don't have to update and it will still play games.

It sounds like the firmware has been encrypted once written to the drive...this is just my assumption...but it makes perfect sense. I can see why this is great for the time being...but also see why it might suck in the future. If there are future releases there will probably have to be a workaround. Again, just my opinion. Anyone know if this is the case?

now thats a bit scary so does that mean you cant update your firmware later on becuase its encrypted?

    Something strange going on?

No, you cant read your firmware once it has been flashed. As long as you have you OFW, your fine. You can just do Lite-on erase!

The updates are for accessing live, the majority of the time you will OK to play offline without updating but M$ wont let you play on live until you update.
