I am having a strange issue with .vob files.

How I make my .vob files:
    1) DVDFab to rip
    2) VOBMerge to merge seperate .vob files into one large one.

I just got my WDTV tonight, so I haven't tried a ton of movies, but the ones I have are working perfectly! The strange part is, television episodes seem to be giving me some trouble.

If the television episode is under 1GB, it works like a charm. If not, it makes two .vob files, I merge, and when I play the file on my WDTV is says the file is only 4 (or so) seconds long (although, it will play the entire episode!). Fast forward works on 2x and 4x, but when I get to 8x or 16x, it starts the file over!

This problem is also evident on my Playstation 3. And, most the time will freeze at the 4 second mark. any ideas?! :(

Somethings up with the merging, try another app.

Or use DVDShrink, tell it to not split files in Preferences, then reauthor each episode.
