Ok i have a problem with a new box i just purchased. Just purchased the starview 4 box as i'm so happy with the starview 3 box i have in my living room.I purchased the box without the updated firmware on as it saved me £30 and i have flashed the box to the latest firmware without a problem and resolved the setanta problem on both starview box 3 and 4 was done when i scanned for channels on the initial install.However i have noticed with the new box sometimes when i flick to another channel after watching another channel for a while or it has not been used for a while i get the sound and no picture on the channels.I'm not a expert on these box's but if i set to default back to factory settins and re scan channels everything comes back on.I do not have these probs with my starview box 3 and can not work this problem out.My living room box is plugged straight in to the connection at the wall where as the one upstairs runs from the wall downstairs and with a splitter lead with one to my pc and one to the box.Now i used to use run a eurovox upstairs until it died had no problem.Any help would be appreciated as i said this is one area i'm no expert on i just know enough to get by and maybe a area i need to learn more about.
Think i have sorted this problem by switching the box's around however watch this space. Any advice on the usb system will still come in handy. Thanks in advance.
